Bridge cycle-pedestrian of Tiarno
As part of the cycle path of the Ledro Valley (in Tiarno – TN) a cycle-pedestrian bridge was built to manage the flow of traffic. The cycle path was designed by applying modern technologies which are able to guarantee correct environmental sustainability.
The new cycle path in the Ledro Valley will soon be opened and will complement the already extensive number of cycle paths in the province of Trento. It begins and ends in Pieve di Ledro, along a 31km route, surrounded by nature, and with a total climb of 1000m. The cycle path winds through the valley with breathtaking views of: Lake Ledro, Lake Garda, Adamello and Brenta. The pedestrian and cycle path starts from the Galet Garni http://www.galet.it/, a bed and breakfast in Pieve di Ledro.
The route consists of dirt roads, asphalted sections, cobblestones and some suspended stretches, just like the cycle-pedestrian bridge located in the territory of Tiarno.
The structure of the bridge has been protected and finished with Sistema Triplex, to enable a high durability (over 15 years) in a rural context, class C2H according to the directive UNI EN ISO 12944-2.
